 Greater Fall River -held on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 PM - 7:30PM    Corrigan Mental Health Center - 49 Hillside Street , one block south Charlton Hosp 

Family  Support Group

 Greater Fall River

Greater Taunton

On the second Tuesday of the month at CCBC , 19 Cedar Street, 6:30PM to 7:30PM . This support group is limited to family members , parents, spouses,  siblings , caretakers and friends of a person with a mental illness.

   The  group is support ,  advocacy ,also an informational   support group setting .

   It's families helping families when they need the most.                                                        

All NAMI  meetings and support groups are free and open to the public.

Peer Run Warm Line

The Peer line is expected to be important preventative component to the overall mental health care available to consumer. Many of the callers live alone and struggle with a variety of symptoms. Often these symptoms worsen at night and on weekends but if the consumer can touch base with the operator get suggestions how to manage or just connect with a friendly and understaning person a potentila crisis can be averted. The Peer Line will become a service consumers can rely on for support, encouragement and feedback about daily issue. The peer line will also serve as a medication reminder if a consumer is having difficulty his/her medication schdedule.
